Christopher A. King, Ph.D.

My interests inlcude researching and reading about nationalism and how culture constructs identity with emphasis in Asia. I am also interested in concepts of food and identity, anthropological approaches to conflict mediation and resolution, medical anthropology, prehistoric dietary change in Southeast Asia. My interests also include qualitative and quantitative research design and reproductive health and human growth in Southeast Asia.

I currently work for the TRADOC Culture Center as a cultural awareness course developer and trainer for the United States military. We are currently developing a website for the TCC and will post once complete. In the meantime, here is a link to our Cultural Summit II but you need an AKO account (Cultural Summit).

Other interests include keeping physically fit, going to the beach, hiking, and most anything that does not involve having to stare at a computer screen all the time. I also love running.
